1.The Fifth Label

The Fifth Label is the epitome of effortlessly sexy modern street wear for all women. This Aussie brand was born in 2014 and completely dominates the ‘Model Off-Duty’ space with its simple and affordable all-round staple pieces.

2. Isabelle Quinn

Isabelle Quinn an Australian womenswear label, named by the Gold Coast designer herself. Influenced by the women around her, Isabelle creates pieces with ‘grace and guts’ to suit all wardrobes. This one of a kind brand continues to sprout legs on the Gold Coast, starting out with a showroom in Mermaid Beach in 2018 and now holding a spot in the high-fashion sector of Pacific Fair.

3. Dyspnea 

‘Enough fluff, sequins, silks and sass to give anyone a migraine’

This Perth born brand is bold and beautiful and goes outside the realm of modern fashion to create a space of its own. We would describe Dyspnea as dreamy Disney mixed with sex and confidence for women of all dimensions.

4. Salté Designs

Salte Designs, another Gold Coast brand that transforms inspiration to create brilliant pieces for all. Established in 2015, Salte Designs’ owner and designer Sharna Hupfeld uses her own textiles and patterns to represent ‘freedom, beauty, strength, individuality and confidence’. Keep an eye out for her new range dropping this Spring!

5. Sans Beast

No animals were harmed in the creation of this Aussie brand. Created in Melbourne by Cathryn Wills, who spent the majority of her 30 years in fashion/retail suffocating in the world of leather handbags. Cathryn has created a brand that focuses on giving customers an ‘alternative to products derived from animals’ with her luxe vegan handbags that are made with love.

6. WavyBone

Newbies on the block Darvin and Michael are bringing you Gold Coast’s brand new coffee on wheels in epic old school caravan style. With a combined knowledge in creating quality coffee, these Gold Coast coffee connoisseurs will become your morning saviours. 7. Thursday Brewing

Ed Hatcher and Keegan Shaw are the men behind the Mermaid Beach brew, Thursday Brewing. The name Thursday coming from that ‘It’s Almost Friday’ feeling when you know the weekend is right around the corner and the hard-yards of the week are finally out of the way. You won’t have to go far to find these little gems because they’re now available across heaps of Gold Coast and Byron Bar bars.

8. Husk Rum & Ink Gin

You’ve probably started seeing the name Husk pop up around Gold Coast bars but what you might not know is that the brand is homegrown and actually nestled in Northern NSW surrounding Mt Warning. Husk is unlike any other typical distillery due to their fermentation, distillation and maturation methods which creates for a unique brand that creates life long customers.

For the real fans you can now book a table or a tour at the Husk Farm Distillery where you can take a look behind the scenes and finish off with a rum tasting in the barrel house.

9. Frank Body

Australian based beauty brand Frank Body has well and truly made a name for itself with a distinctive character that focuses on being ‘honest and fun’. What started as a side project between uni mates is now a world-wide brand that’s dominating the beauty industry with its simple and natural coffee-based product range. Tried, tested and absolutely loving it.

10. Alpha-H

Alpha-H are aiming to ‘bridge the gap between the beauty counter and invasive treatments’. Simple yet effective, this Aussie brand started out as a small fish on the Gold Coast but now can be seen stocked in over 40 countries in stores including Sephora. Talk about glow up.
